Clothing Drive and Youth Empowerment Session for Yadel Girls and Sunbeam Boys Home

The Kiwanis Club of Old Harbour has embarked on a clothing drive for the collection of casual and professional clothing for young men and women. The motivation of this project is to assist youngsters under state care from the  Yadel Girls Home and Sunbeam Boys Home.

In addition to the clothing, the club will be offering an interactive youth empowerment session of guidance and advice from speakers on 'Preparing for the Place of Work: Work Ethics and Professionalism in the Workplace' - topics for discussion will include dressing for success, preparing for successful work, time and money management, working with others and work ethics.

The goal of the project is to bring pleasure to the young people and equip each with knowledge relevant to their professional life.

If you know of any friend, family member, associate or Kiwanian who might interested in being apart of this project, we invite you to share this information with them.

One can make a difference, you can make a difference!
