Help to Save Jadon Dixon's Life

To have a life is a blessing -- Anonymous

"TUMOURS, TUMOURS, tumours. They are in young Jadon's head, growing as if there were no tomorrow, choking him, threatening his very existence" -- The Gleaner, Paul Williams

Lets help to save the life of little Jadon Dixon, of Spanish Town, St Catherine, who has multiple fast-growing benign tumours in his head and needs urgent medical attention.

The Kiwanis Club of Old Harbour is seeking to raise funds to assist in his operation and is partnering with the Aviation Club Jamaica in making saving his life possible. We have secured sponsorship to have him flown overseas through the kind assistance of the Jamaica Air Ambulance Service (E-Med).

The Aviation Club Jamaica Book Donation

Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation. ~ John F. Kennedy

Think of ways in which we can help to make the communities we live a better, more developed one. What measures are you willing to take to see and make a difference in the lives of not only your own but others?

With the help of the Aviation Club Jamaica, the Kiwanis Club of Old Harbour will be making difference in not only one life but to many children's lives with the donation of two (2) boxes of books received at our most recent meeting, Monday January 16, 2012.

The club graciously accepted the boxes of books donated from the Aviation Club Jamaica. And with the kindness and consideration of the members of the Jamaica Aviation Club, we will be better able to make a difference in our children's lives through education.

The honours were done by President Ricardo Williams and Director Harty Jordan from the Kiwanis Club of Old Harbour, who thanked Mr. Samuel Neil, the founder of the Aviation Club Jamaica for donating the books of life.
